MKU Madurai Microplastics/Aquatic Biology Project Vacancy

Applications are invited for one Post of Project Assistant to work in a project entitled “Evaluation of Microplastics contamination in deeded fishes from the urban wetlands of Coimbatore, Tamilnadu and its exposure to human: the way forward towards the health risk assessment using the zebrafish model and bio- mitigation strategy” sanctioned by the Government of Tamilnadu under the Chief Minister’s Research Grant (CMRG) to Dr. T. Muralisankar, Assistant professor, Department of Zoology, Bharathiar University, Coimbatore- 641046. 

Eligibility : First class M.Sc., Life Science (Zoology/Biochemistry/Biotechnology/ Microbiology/Marnie Biology/Aquatic Biology) 

Describe : Good knowledge in microplastics extraction and characterization, handling of zebrafish and microbiology. 

Stipend : Rs. 25,000/- per month (consolidated). 

Duration : 3 Years Interested and eligible candidates may submit a hard copy of their resume along with attested copies of mark sheets, degree certificates, proof of age, experience certificates, and other relevant documents on or before 15th March 2025 via post or email. Shortlisted candidates will be notified via email and invited for an interview at a later date. No TA/DA will be provided for attending the interview.
