To investigate the applicability and efficiency of Natural farming and elucidate its advantages over inorganic
farming in sustainable agriculture. Applications are invited for the post of Junior Research Fellow in the
project under the ‘Network Research Program on Bharatiya Krishi Paddhati (Natural Farming) through
Biotechnology interventions’ of Research Support Scheme 2022-23 funded by GSBTM, DST, Govt. of

Eligibility:
Qualification for RA
Candidate should be Masters / Post Graduate / M.Sc./ M. Tech/ Master
Degree or equivalent degree (Plant Biotechnology/ Microbiology/
Biochemistry or relevant/ allied agricultural science discipline)
With a
minimum of 55% marks or a CGPA of 5.5 in 10 point in scale and
NET/GATE qualified / NET-LS / 5 years of Experience
Fellowship for RA Rs. 31,000/- per month + HRA for NET/GATE/BET Qualified
Rs. 23,213 Fixed for Non-NET/GATE/BET Qualified
The appointment of JRF is purely temporary & on a contractual basis for the defined period of the project.
The selected candidate will not be entitled to claim for regular appointment/position in the institute.
Candidates will be short-listed for interview based on their qualifications and research experience. The
interview date will be intimated by e-mail. Shortlisted candidates have to appear for an interview at their
own expense, no TA/DA will be given to attend the interview.
