IISER-TVM Project Scientist Vacancy on Plasmodium Life Cycle

Indian Institute of Science Education and Research Thiruvananthapuram is a premier autonomous Institution established by the Ministry of Human Resource Development, Government of India, for promotion of high-quality science education and research in the country.

The Institute invites applications for the following positions on contract basis:

Name of Post	Project Scientist-I
Title of the project	Elucidating the Plasmodium-induced complexity in the host signaling network
Funding agency	DBT-Wellcome Trust India Alliance
Minimum Educational qualification (as prescribed by the funding agency)	Doctoral degree in Science, Engineering, Technology Pharma MD/MS from a recognized university or equivalent.
Preference	Preferably, experience in setting up the Plasmodium life cycle and genetic manipulations in Plasmodium and Toxoplasma will be preferred. Additional experience in Animal handling, Cell culture techniques, Confocal imaging, flow cytometry, and infection biology - related experiments will also be preferred.
Number of posts	1
Fellowship amount	Rs. 56,000 + HRA
Tenure of the post	1 year (maybe extendable up to 5 years)
Age	The upper age limit is 35 years on the last date of application with age relaxation as per Govt. Rules.
