Interview for ‘Project-JRF’ Position
Title of Project: Identification of lead molecules for development of novel therapeutic strategies
against viruses.
Age Limit: 35 Years.
Duration: Initially for one year and may be extended further after review.
Essential Qualifications: Post-graduate degree in Life Sciences/Biotechnology/Bioinformatics or
equivalent with minimum 60% marks. The candidate should have qualified NET/GATE or any other
National level examination conducted by Central Govt. departments and their agencies & institutions.
Practical knowledge of recombinant DNA technology, protein purification, and macromolecular
crystallography is required. The candidate should have knowledge and research experience in enzymes
that act on nucleic acids.
Desirable Qualifications: The candidate should have knowledge of molecular modelling.

Emoluments: Rs. 31,000/- + 24% HRA.
