Applications are invited for the following purely temporary position for Central Silk Board (CSB)
funded research projects at Central Tasar Research & Training Institute, Central Silk Board (CSB),
Ministry of Textiles, Government of India, Nagri, Ranchi - 835303 (Jharkhand).
Project Title: PIB:04009SI: Evaluation of Identified hybrids of Terminalia arjuna x Terminalia
tomentosa and drought tolerant Terminalia arjuna for their suitability in different
tropical tasar silkworm rearing regions". (PI: Dr. Aparna Kopparapu, Scientist-C)

3 Qualification Post graduation in Soil Science/ Botany/ Microbiology/ Agronomy/ Horticulture/any Plant Science
4 Desirable Work experience in Soil Science/ Botany/ Microbiology/ Agronomy/ Horticulture/ analysis of plant or soil samples.
5 Fellowship Rs. 21,000 + 16% HRA for M.Sc.
Rs. 31,000 + 16% HRA for M.Sc. with CSIR/UGC NET qualified
The upper age limit shall be 35 years as on date of interview.
Age is relaxable
for SC/ST/OBC/women and physically challenged candidates as per rules.
