Senior Bioinformatics Scientist
Ph. D in Bioinformatics/Computational Biology with 3 years Industry or academic experience
Scope of the Project - The successful candidate will work on Genetic Analysis of health conditions like
metabolic, immune, and cardiovascular, and cancer risk predisposition. Experience in Mapping functional genomic traits, translating genetic and epigenetic insights into real-world physiological interpretation, Working on polygenic risk scores, network/pathway-based analysis, and multi-omics integration (genomics, metabolomics etc.)
Skills required: Familiarity and working knowledge with variant annotation, GWASIPRS workflows Epigenomic or transcriptomic data analysis (e.g., methylation, RNAseq) Biological pathway & network analysis Programming in Python or R or MATLAB for data wrangling, analysis, and pipeline development Interest in physiological systems modeling, not just statistical inference
Desired Qualifications: Ph.D. in Bioinformatics, Computational Biology with strong data focus, 3 years of relevant industry or academic experience Bonus: Experience with pharmacogenomics, consumer genomics, or building tools for personalized health platforms
The selected candidate will be provided accommodation in IBAB hostel based on the availability.
