Roles and Responsiblities
Lead the development of diagnostic assays, including nucleic acid-based, immunoassays, and enzymatic tests.
Design and execute experiments to support assay development and validation in compliance with CLIA/CAP/ISO standards.
Analyze and interpret complex data sets using statistical and bioinformatics tools.
Collaborate with clinical teams to optimize assays for diagnostic applications.
Prepare technical reports, SOPs, validation documentation, and regulatory submissions.
Troubleshoot assay performance issues and implement corrective actions.
Mentor junior scientists and research associates.
Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and regulatory trends in clinical diagnostics.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with automation and high-throughput platforms.
Familiarity with LDT (Laboratory Developed Tests) and IVD (In Vitro Diagnostic) workflows.
Knowledge of biomarker discovery and validation.
Work Environment: Primarily lab-based with occasional office work. Compliance with laboratory safety protocols required. Occasional travel for conferences or collaboration may be expected.
