Applications are invited from the highly motivated and eligible candidates for the position of one
Junior Research Assistant (JRA) to work on a research project (Project Id 6456) entitled
"Mosquito surveillance and pathogenicity of dengue virus in Prayagraj: A comprehensive study
for vector control and public health management" under Dr. Ramaraj P (PI) &
Dr. Pushpank Vats (Co-PI), Department of Zoology, University of Allahabad, Prayagraj.
The
project is funded by CSTUP lucknow under the research and development scheme.
Essential Qualifications
The candidates must have M.Sc.
(Zoology/Ag.Entomology). High academic attainment with 1st
class in graduates and post
graduate examination.
Desirable:
Candidates with hands-on
training, experience and
knowledge in mosquito
identification, biology, habitats,
life cycle, modes of disease
transmission and methods of
mosquito treatment and control
beyond routine curriculum
practicals. Additional preference
will be given to candidates
qualified NET (Life Sciences).
