Applications are invited from Indian nationals for Research Associate position in a funded
project, entitled “Development of RNA –Binding proteins derived peptide (RBpep) loaded
hydrogels as topical therapy for corneal scarring and fibrosis”
Principal Investigator: Dr. Sudhir R R, Deputy Director – Cornea Services, Medical Research
Foundation
Co‐Principal Investigator: Dr. Sharada Ramasubramanyan, Associate Professor, Department
of Biochemistry and Cell Biology
Duration of the project: Two years
Eligibility:
Candidates with PhD / MBBS or ME/MTech/MPharm/MVSc + 3 years R&D
experience.
The candidate should have a strong background in cell and
molecular biology with mandatory experience in ocular research.
Salary: Consolidate salary of Rs. 50,000 per month
Desirable Qualifications:
Extensive experience in primary cell culture (ocular) and handling clinical
samples.
Expertise with big data in silico analysis.
Strong publication record
The RA will also be responsible for the preparation of progress reports and
manuscripts towards publications
