Advertisement for recruitment of Project Technical Support III position
Applications are invited for two Project Technical Support III positions from eligible candidates
interested in research on a corneal disorder known as Keratoconus, at the Department of
Proteomics, Aravind Medical Research Foundation.
The project titled “Identification of regulatory
tear microRNAs during keratoconus progression and evaluation of affected microRNAs in
keratoconus corneas by the application of a therapeutic cross-linker” is funded for 3 years by
Indian Council of Medical Research (ICMR), Govt. of India. The project will be carried out
under the guidance of Dr. O.G. Ramprasad, Scientist at the Department of Proteomics.
Qualification:
M.Sc/M.Tech in Life Sciences or Biotechnology
Prior experience in cell culture, molecular biology techniques and an interest in
bioinformatics data analysis will be preferred.
Qualification in any national examination like CSIR/UGC, ICMR, etc., will be desired.
Fellowship: Rs. 28,000 + 20% HRA per month (according to ICMR norms)

The interview will take place in Madurai. No TA/DA will be paid for attending the
interview.

interview for verification
Candidate should bring the original UGC/CSIR/GATE etc. certificate, if available at
the time of interview.
