Interview for ‘Research Associate – I’ Position
Title of the project: An integrated cell wall biochemistry-based strategy for promoting the resilience and
circularity of rice cultivation” under DBT-Indo Swedish Programme.
Duration: Initially one year and possibility of extension depending on progress.
Essential qualifications: PhD. Plant Biology/Agricultural Biology (focus on plant molecular biology and
biotechnology).
Desired qualifications: Strong practical and theoretical knowledge of molecular biology, biochemistry
techniques are necessary.
Experience of working on generation of genome edited lines using different tools
and its analysis are desirable. Experience of functional and biochemical characterization of genes is also
desirable.

Monthly Emolument: Rs. 58000/- + 27% HRA.
Age limit: Below 35 Years
