Project Title: Sustainable Microalgae–Yeast Biorefinery for Enhanced Lutein and Lipid Production Utilizing Coal-Fired Flue Gas CO₂ through a Waste-to-Wealth Strategy
Duration: 2 Years (Initially for 1 year, extendable based on performance and availability of funds)
Fellowship: ₹20,000/- per month (Consolidated, as per DBT norms)
Eligibility:
M.Sc./M.Tech. in Biotechnology, Microbiology, Biochemistry, Botany, Environmental Biotechnology, Chemical Engineering, or relevant Life Science discipline with minimum 55% marks or equivalent CGPA.
Desirable Experience:
Microalgae/yeast cultivation, bioprocessing, wastewater treatment, biorefinery concepts, carbon capture, and scientific writing.
Age Limit:
Not exceeding 28 years (relaxation as per GoI/DBT norms)
