Bose Institute invites application from Indian Citizens to offer short term training for one position of
Student Intern for the ANRF(SERB) sponsored project entitled “Molecular Characterization of
factors(s) regulating transcription of MYB21 and MYB24 genes in Jasmonic acid signalling
pathway during pollen development” under the supervision of Prof. Shubho Chaudhuri, Department of
Biological Sciences. The duration of short term training is two months from the date of joining.
Essential Qualification: Students pursuing M.Sc. in Life Science, Biotechnology or Biochemistry with
at least 90% in 10th Standard (Secondary school examination), 85% in
12th Standard {Higher secondary examination (10+2)} and 80% in
honours subject in B.Sc. or CGPA 8 (10-point scale).
Student Assistantship : Rs. 5,000/- p.m.
Age Limit : Below 28 years.
Interested and eligible candidates may apply on prescribed format enclosed herewith along with
a small write-up (max 200 words) on the above project title and self attested copies of Certificates and
Mark-sheets from Secondary to M.Sc. (minimum 1st & 2nd semester marksheet of M.Sc.) etc. addressed
