Applications are invited from interested and motivated candidates for the posts of Project Technical Support-III for the ICMR-funded project in the School of Bio Sciences & Technology (SBST), Vellore Institute of Technology (VIT)-Vellore- 632014, Tamil Nadu.
Title of the Project : Development of pitcher plant-inspired liquid-infused and multi-modal bioselective implant coatings for combating implant-associated infections and bone losses (No. EMDR/IG/14/2025-00837, Dt. 28.01.2026).
Qualification : First class Post Graduation (PG) degree in relevant subjects (Biotechnology/ Biosciences/ Material Science/ Chemistry) or related disciplines from a recognized university. A minimum of one year of research experience will be desirable.
Mandatory Skills : Candidates having experience in maintaining laboratory records and compliance documentation; supporting sample handling, data management, and project reviews; and willingness to travel co-PIs’ labs located in different parts of the country. In addition, if candidates having experience in laboratory skills like material coating, biochemical and microbiological assays, microbial culture maintenance, reagent handling, and assistance with animal experiments will be an added advantage.
Stipend : Rs. 28,000/- + 10% HRA per month, stipend will be as per Institute norms.
Age Limit (if any) : Not exceeding 35 years

Duration : 1 Year and extendable to 3 years based on performance
