Position Junior Research Fellow (JRF) 

Title of The Project Urban Biodiversity Studies including Development and Assessment of City Biodiversity Index for Major Cities and Urban Areas in Bihar.

Tenure of Project The position is purely temporary and co-terminus with the project, Initially for a period of one year. 

Job Description The JRF (Project) need to collect the samples at Nalanda - Bihar Sharif - Rajgir and Pawapuri cluster of Bihar, study of biodiversity, environmental and ecosystem services, data compilation and analysis, GIS mapping, Assessment of City Biodiversity Index and report writing etc. 

Essential Qualification M.Sc. (Environmental Science/ Microbiology/ Biotechnology/ Biochemistry/ Chemistry/ Life Science/Botany/Zoology/Forestry or equivalent) OR M.E/M. Tech. (Environmental Science & Engg./Chemical Engg. or equivalent) with first class. 

Desirable Qualification Preference will be given to candidates with experience in the relevant field and who have cleared the GATE/NET Exam. 

Age and Relaxation The upper age limit is 35 years at the time of application (Age relaxation for SC/ST/OBC/PWD/Female candidate as per GoI rule) 

Fellowship 37000/- pm
