Notification Applications are invited for the following posts on purely temporary basis under ICMR funded project titled “Development of an Optimal Model for Sickle Cell Disease Screening, Diagnosis, Treatment, and Care: Implementation Research Study” Sanctioned to Dr. Deepa Bhat, Professor, Dept. of Anatomy, JSS Medical College, JSS AHER. 

For the period of three years. 

Details of the position are as follows: 

1 Project Research Scientist–III (NonMedical) 01 

Ph.D. in Molecular Biology/Biotechnology/ Biochemistry/Microbiology/ Genetics with five years experience in field-based projects OR /MPH with at least 5 years of relevant research or field experience 

Experience in implementation research, project coordination, Sickle Cell Disease, stakeholder engagement, scientific writing, and publication record 

₹78,000 + 20% HRA (₹93,600 total) 

2 Project Research Scientist–II (NonMedical) 01 

Ph.D. in Molecular Biology/Genetics/ Biochemistry/Microbiology/ Biotechnology OR MPH* (Freshers) with field experience 

Interest or exposure in data analysis, mixedmethods research, capacity building, or community engagement 

₹56,000 + 20% HRA (₹67,200 total) 

3 Project Technical Support–III 04 

Master’s in Molecular Biology/Biotechnology/ Biochemistry/Genetics /Medical Genetics/Bio-Medical Genetics/ MPH/MSW/Microbiology with R&D or field experience 

Experience in communitybased data collection, field supervision, or training in tribal / public health programs 

₹28,000 + 20% HRA (₹33,600 total) 

4 Project Technical Support–I** 04 

B.Sc. in Biochemistry/ Biotechnology/ Microbiology /Molecular Biology/ BCA with Data Collection /Research experience Field data collection, entry, and coordination experience desirable 

₹18,000 + 20% HRA (₹21,600 total) 

*MPH who intend to register for PhD at JSSAHER are preferred 

** Even candidates with master’s can apply for the Project Technical Support–I post
