Applications are invited for the Post of Junior Research Fellow (JRF) for the ANRF Funded Project in the School of Biosciences and Technology (SBST), at Vellore Institute of Technology (VIT), Vellore.
Title of the Project: Bypassing small RNA-mediated postzygotic hybridization barriers in tomato
Qualification: MTech/MSc in Life sciences (Bioinformatics/Computational Biology, Biotechnology, Plant Breeding and Genetics, Botany and Agriculture).
Describe if any: Candidates having experience in bioinformatics, plant reproduction, or epigenetics will be given preference
Stipend : Rs. 37,000/- + HRA will be given as per the institute norms
Sponsoring Agency : ANRF, New Delhi
Duration : Initially for a period of one year extendable to further two more years subject to satisfactory performance of the candidate
