Advertisement for the position of Junior Research Fellow (JRF) in a DBT-funded Project
Applications are invited from eligible candidates for one (01) position of Junior Research Fellow (JRF) in a Department of Biotechnology (DBT), Government of India, funded project under Dr. Deepak Kumar, Associate Professor, Department of Botany, Institute of Science, Banaras Hindu University, Varanasi.
Project Title Decoding the Roles of Prion-Like SEUSS Proteins in Thermosensory Responses in Potato (Solanum tuberosum)
Project Description This project investigates the prion-like properties of the potato SEUSS protein (StSEU) and its role in thermosensory responses. The study integrates computational biology, molecular biology, yeast assays, and transgenic approaches to understand how StSEU regulates heat stress adaptation and developmental plasticity in potato.
