Essential:
1. First-class postgraduate degree in Biotechnology.
Desirable: PhD in biophysics/biochemistry with at least two first-authored research publications in a reputed peerreviewed joumal.
Experience with biophysical techniques, including ITC, MST, SPR and different relevant
specroscopies. Expertise in construct design, protein engineering, cloning, protein expression, and puritication.
Software expertise in CCP4i2, COOT, PYMOL, and bioinformatic analysis will be desirable.
Preferred: Hands-on experience in X-ray crystallography (protein crystallization, data collection, struclure
determination, and refi nement).
Duration: One year with possible extension ofthe project
Job description:
i. Basic molecular biology, protein biochemistry, biophysics work, cloning. protein engineering
ii. Proteinpurification, biophysical/biochemical techniques
Preferred:
1. Protein crystallization and data collection
2. Structure determination
