Applications are invited for One (1) post of Research Associate (RA) funded by the ANRF to work on the project entitled “Understanding the role of Hypoxia-Inducible Factor-2 on survival advantage of Leishmania donovani in host macrophages”. The project is likely to be continued up to three years.
Qualification:
Essential: PhD in any branch of Biological sciences with extensive experience in Leishmania-macrophage interaction, working experience with mammalian cell culture and substantial experience in animal handling in regard to Leishmania infection with publication in the relevant area. Candidates should have excellent experience on techniques on molecular and cell biology related to gene expression.
Desirable: At least one publication in the related area.
Salary: As per ANRF approval + HRA (as permissible)
