Applications are invited from Indian citizens for the post of Project Assistant (on contract) for the
research project entitled "Genome mining and characterization of piperine biosynthetic genes in
fungal endophytes of P longum for sustainable production of the phytochemical" vide sanction
order ANRF/ECRG/2024/001855/LS dated 03-06-2025, sponsored by Anusandhan National
Research Foundation (ANRF) Prime Minister Early Career Research Grant (PMECRG).
The duly
completed application form, along with attested copies of supporting documents must reach the
Principal Investigator (PI): Dr. Sushma Mishra, Assistant Professor, Department of Botany,
University of Lucknow, Babuganj, Hasanganj, Lucknow, Uttar Pradesh (226007) within 15
days from the date of the advertisement.
The envelope should be superscribed as "Application for
the post of Project Assistant for ANRF-PMECRG-funded project". A soft copy (scanned copy) of the
duly filled and signed copy of the application form along with all the certificates should also be sent
on the email smlabprojects@gmail.com.
The position is purely temporary and subject to fund
availability and will be governed by the funding agency's (ANRF) guidelines & service conditions of
the University of Lucknow.
B.Sc. in Botany/ Zoology/ Biotechnologyl
Microbiology/ Biochemistry or allied branch of Life Sciences or
equivalent.
M.Sc. in Botany/ Biotechnology/ Microbiology/ Biochemistry or
allied branch of Life Sciences or equivalent with First class at the
qualifying examination, GATE/NET/SLET qualification:
Lab
experience in the field of Microbiology/Molecular Biology;
Computer proficiency
Rs. 32,400/- per month fixed
