Applications are invited for the following post, co-terminus with the project, with minimum
qualifications in an ANRF funded Project entitled “Production and characterization of
multifunctional peptides in fermented plant-based substrate showing pre-emptive actions
against diabetes and hypertension” (No-ANRF/ECRG/2025/005068/LS)”.

Essential Qualifications:
• M.Sc. in Microbiology / Biotechnology/Life Science with
minimum 55% marks
• CSIR-UGC NET or NET conducted by any Central
Government Departments and their Institutes, such as DST,
DBT, DAE, DOS, DRDO, etc. (JRF/LS/Assistant
Professorship/GATE).
Desirable Qualification:
Preference will be given to candidates having a background in
Fermentation, Microbiology, Cell culture and animal studies.
• Minimum emoluments of research staff as per (As per DST OM No. DST/PCPM/Z-06/2022 dated
26.06.2023).
• Candidates need to apply within 21 days from the date of advertisement.
• Project duration: Three years or till the completion of the project.

• Only shortlisted candidates will be called for interview.
• No TA/DA will be paid for attending the interview.
• The prescribed essential qualifications are minimum, and the mere possession of the same does not
entitle candidates to be called for an interview.
The consideration of qualifications as equivalent to
the essential and desirable qualifications stated above shall be the discretion of the relevant
committee constituted for scrutinizing the applications. If the number of applications received in
response to the advertisement is large, the University may restrict the number of candidates to be
called for interview to a reasonable limit through a shortlisting process based on a well-defined
criterion, which may include possessing of desirable qualifications and/or experience more than that
prescribed in the advertisement and/or qualifications/ experience in a particular field as per the
specific requirement.
• In the case of deserving and exceptionally qualified candidates, desirable qualifications are relaxed
at the discretion of the Competent Authority.
• The Positions/ requirements are purely on a contractual basis.
