BIRAC-supported E-YUVA Center at AKS University, Satna for the following positions purely on a
contractual basis (initially for one year).
The positions are temporary and co-terminus with the project. Details regarding the number of posts,
essential qualifications, experience, and age limits are given below.

i. Strong interest and passion for nurturing technology innovation and
entrepreneurship
ii. Academic background in life sciences, bioengineering, biotechnology, biomedical
engineering, medicine or allied disciplines (preferred for bio-incubation activities)
iii. Experience/qualification in business management, IP management, project
management, technology transfer, incubation, law & agreements
iv. Excellent communication skills; experience in scientific/proposal writing is desirable
v. Experience in mentoring students, interns or startups will be an advantage
vi. Self-starter with ability to work independently and deliver project goals
vii. Ability to design programs, mobilize applicants and generate revenue through
scientific/technology-based workshops
Note: Research and innovation capacity must be evidenced through publications, patents, or
startups created/mentored.

ii) Hands-on experience with analytical instruments, BSL-2 laboratory, animal
handling (preferred)
iii) Experience/qualification in business management, IP, project management,
technology transfer, incubation
iv) Good communication skills with experience in scientific writing/content
development
v) Self-motivated and capable of working under strict deadlines
vi) Willingness to travel for outreach, summits and collaborative programs

Job Description
The Project Assistant will provide scientific and administrative support to the E-YUVA Center
and report to the Project Coordinator/Chief Coordinator/PI. Duties include laboratory maintenance,
coordination with fellows, monitoring instruments, procurement, project finance documentation,
organizing seminars and workshops, assisting in proposal writing and fund-raising activities, and
maintaining day-to-day project operations.
