Design and execute computational structural bioinformatics studies, with particular emphasis on molecular dynamics simulations, molecular docking, protein-ligand interactions, structural analysis, and related computational approaches.
Particular focus on Precision Medicine / Personalized Medicine is expected.
Drug Discovery & Adverse effects prediction based on Gene Sequence variations and Protein Structural variations in the Indian cohort.
Conduct comparative genomics, functional enrichment, and pathway analyses to identify clinically relevant biological signatures.
Protein structure modelling and structure function prediction.
Documentation and Administrative responsibilities within CDHPM.

Required Qualifications Master's Degree (or) Ph.D in Bioinformatics, Biotechnology, or Computational Biology. Ph.D. candidates who have submitted their thesis are eligible to apply.

Two to Three (2~3) years of hands-on research experience is preferable for M.Sc graduates.

Experience with standard bioinformatics tools for sequence alignment, variant calling, and annotation (e.g., BWA, GATK, SAMtools, ANNOVAR, SnpEff)

Working knowledge of Linux/Unix environments and command-line scripting (Bash)

Mandatory Research Experience

The candidate must demonstrate prior research experience in computational structural bioinformatics, with particular emphasis on Molecular Dynamics Simulations.
Experience in molecular docking and related structural bioinformatics approaches will be considered highly relevant.

Minimum Publication Requirement:

At least two peer-reviewed journal publications demonstrating research experience in molecular dynamics simulation and/or molecular docking is an essential eligibility criterion.
Candidates whose research publications do not demonstrate relevant experience in these areas may not be considered.  Skills & Competencies Strong scientific writing and publication skills.
Strong analytical and computational problem-solving ability with a sound biological foundation.
Rigour and attention to detail in computational analysis, documentation, and reproducibility.
Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in an interdisciplinary research environment.
Willingness to learn and adopt emerging computational structural bioinformatics methodologies.
