Title of the Projec Generative AI driven model for Prediction and Early Diagnosis of Cancers using multimodal data integration emphasizing the Epigenomic data generated from Breast tissues (healthy, apparently healthy and tumor)

Junior Research Fellow (JRF)

Essential Qualification (s): M.Sc. with NET/GATE qualification and hands-on research experience in project management, molecular biology experimentation, AI model development and validation, multimodal gene expression data integration, scientific writing, and laboratory inventory management. Preferably hands-on research experience in project management as depicted in the project; generative AI and epigenetics data handling.

Experience / Software / Skillset & Desirable Qualification

Applicants should possess prior research publications and experience in advanced wet-lab techniques, such as molecular biology and biochemical assays, as well as expertise in cancer cell line and tumor sphere culture. Proficiency in coding and computational analysis is required. 
Experience in artificial intelligence model development for gene expression data analysis, multimodal data integration, and validation is highly desirable.

Job Description

The project fellow will plan and manage projects, carry out laboratory experiments (Wet Lab), and collect, analyze, and document research data. Fellow will help develop, train, validate, and optimize AI models, and work on integrating and validating multimodal gene expression datasets. The fellow will also assist with preparing scientific manuscripts, reviewing literature, and supporting peer-review activities. Keeping accurate records of chemicals, lab supplies, and inventory is important to ensure the project runs smoothly and meets research standards.
