5. Qualifications ICAR-IIWBR Karnal CIMMYT-Mexico, Novo-Nordic Foundation (SP-389) 

Essential: 

i) Master’s Degree Agriculture with specialization in Genetics & Plant Breeding/ Agricultural Biotechnology with 

4 years bachelor’s degree or master’s Degree in Biotechnology with 3 years bachelor’s degree in Botany/Biotechnology. 

ii) Applicant must be qualified with NET conducted by ICAR/CSIR/UGC or any National Agency NET including lectureship (Assistant Professorship) and GATE. National level examination conducted by Central Government Departments and their agencies and Institutions such as DST, DBT, DAE, DOS, DRDO, MHRD, ICAR, ICMR, IIT, IISc, IISER etc. 

Desirable: Research Experience in plant breeding essential, preference given for experience especially in wheat, molecular biology, field layout, computer skills, statistical analysis, scientific writing skills. 

6. Monthly stipend Rs.31000/- + HRA 

7. Age limit (as on date of interview) 35 Years as on closing date of advt. (Relaxation will be applicable for the OBC, SC, ST etc. categories according to Govt of India regulations.)
