Applications are invited for the temporary positions of Research Associate (RA) under the CSIR-sponsored project entitled ‘Structural and functional insights on novel plant β-galactosidase and its immobilization on nanomaterials towards their ultrasensitive biosensor applications’ (CSIR Emeritus Scientist Scheme, CSIR Ref: 21/1179/25/EMR-II dated 21.11.2025), B.H.U. Project code P-25/0887. The post is temporary and co-terminus with the project.

Qualifications
(a) Essential Ph.D. in Biotechnology/Plant Biotechnology/Molecular Biology/Protein Chemistry and M.Sc. in Biotechnology/Plant Biotechnology/Molecular Biology/Biochemistry with First division or 60% marks with research experience in enzyme technology/food chemistry/nanomaterials/biosensor
(b) Desirable Research experience in the field of enzyme purification/ immobilization of enzymes on nanomaterials/ biosensor fabrication, which should be evidenced by Q1/Q2 SCI Publications.
