Applications are invited for the one post of Junior Research Fellow (JRF) with a fellowship amount of
Rs.37,000/- per month plus HRA in an ANRF sponsored Project (Code No. P-07/1377) entitled “Study on
maize microbiome and their effect on host transcripts and metabolites” sanctioned for a duration of three
years. The post is purely temporary and co-terminus with the project.
Essential Qualifications
The candidates should be M.Sc. degree in Botany/Biochemistry/Biotechnology/Life Science/Microbiology
with at least 55 % marks and above. Candidate must have qualified UGC/CSIR-NET or GATE examination.
The upper Age Limit is 28 Years (relaxable for 5 years for SC/ST/Physically Handicapped/Female candidates).
All things being equal, SC/ST candidates will be preferred as per GOI rules.
Candidates with experience of
research in the area of the project will be preferred.
Desirable qualifications: hands on experience in plant-microbe interactions, modern tools and techniques
related molecular biology, q-PCR, NGS, transcriptomics, metagenomics.
