ADVERTISEMENT FOR THE POST OF PROJECT RESEARCH SCIENTIST(S) FOR ICMR-FUNDED PROJECT
Candidates are invited for a walk-in interview for the following assignment in a purely time-bound research project
undertaken in the Department of Biotechnology, Visva-Bharati, Santiniketan.
Name of the temporary assignment: Project Research Scientist - I (Non-Medical), 2 nos.
Name of the research project: HHV-4 latent proteins–mediated metabolic reprogramming of B-cells during cellular
transformation
PI: Prof. Tathagata Choudhuri, Department of Biotechnology, Visva-Bharati
Name of the Sponsoring Agency: Indian Council of Medical Research (ICMR), Govt. of India.
Fellowship amount: As per the Project Research Scientist - I (Non-Medical) of ICMR, Govt. Of India
Rs. 56000/- per month plus admissible HRA as per ICMR rules.
Qualifications & Experience:
1) Essential Qualification: Post Graduate Degree, including the integrated PG degrees in Life
Science/Biotechnology/Environment and relevant subjects.
Desired Experience: At least one year of experience in cellular & molecular virology, cell culture, animal (mouse)
handling, and data analytics skills.
Tenure: 36 Months or the termination of the project, whichever is earlier.
