We invite you to participate in 1st International Society BioTechnology Conference ( ISBT-2008 ) being held from 28th to 30th December 2008 at Gangtok, Sikkim, INDIA on focal theme- Environmental Biotechnology and all topics related to Biotechnology. You are requested to submit your research papers / abstracts / posters on any of the subjects related to BioTechnology. We know that you are a good researcher, therefore we request you to contribute research papers in Conference. We expect a good interaction amongst Scientists, Professors, Industrialists, R & D people at our conference over different BioTechnology topics. We hope that ISBT-2008 will be a broad-base affair. At present, we are getting a good response for participation in the conference at Sikkim.

Research Journal of BioTechnology is one of the main sponsors of the conference along with Sikkim Manipal University, Sikkim and International Society of BioTechnology. ISBT-2008 will be a major forum for international researchers and professionals to present their latest research, results and ideas in all areas of Environmental BioTechnology. ISBT-2008 aims to strengthen relation between industry, research laboratories, governmental agencies, private sector and universities on the focal theme Environmental BioTechnology.

Please get registered with us by paying registration fees ( For all Foreign delegates-- US $ 300 only, for Indian delegates Rs 3000/- only; for students—US $ 150, Rs 1500/-). We should receive your early registration fees before 31st October 2008. A late fee applies after 31st October 2008. Registration fees should be paid in name of "Research Journal of BioTechnology" payable at Indore. Registration fee includes Opening Ceremony Banquet, Conference Package, Bag and Proceedings, Admission to technical sessions and exhibition, Lunch and Coffee breaks for three days and two grand musical evenings along with dinner. Last date of submission of abstracts and registration fees without late fees is 31st October 2008. Hotel and travel expenses from your place to Gangtok and back will have to be borne by you or by your Institute.
Gangtok is a very beautiful and magical place of India and so you are requested to participate in the conference and make plans well in advance to visit Gangtok and Sikkim before conference or after conference. Weather is also good and you can enjoy the mild winter. Even if you do not wish to present the paper, you can attend the conference. Sikkim is sheer magic. This is not just the most beautiful place in the world but cleanest and safest too. If once the charms of the State were limited to mists, mountains and colourful butterflies, they are now complimented by tangible development and progress. With its unique culture and natural landscape, Sikkim is a picture of perfection and pristine purity. Nestled in the Himalayas and endowed with exceptional natural resources, Sikkim is a hotspot of biodiversity and development. Though small in size, yet Sikkim has been identified world over as an important repository of germplasms of unknown dimensions. Perhaps, there is no part of the world, which offers a spectacular scene with every turn of the road as Sikkim. Though land-locked, Sikkim is one of the most beautiful and strategically important state of the Indian Union.

1st International Congress of Chemistry and Environment "ICCE-2001" was successfully held at Indore, INDIA from 16th to 18th December 2001.
2nd International Congress of Chemistry and Environment "ICCE-2005" organized from 24th to 26th December 2005 at INDIA was a grand success where 137 international and 500 Indian delegates participated.
3rd International Congress of Chemistry and Environment "ICCE-2007" was held at Kuwait from 18th to 20th November 2007 where delegates from 45 Countries participated.
4th International Congress of Chemistry and Environment "ICCE-2009" will be held at Tianjin,China from 30th Oct. to 1st Nov. 2009. Now we are organizing First International BioTechnology Conference from 28-30th December 2008 at Gangtok,INDIA.
Our Journal " Research Journal of BioTechnology " offers membership of three categories:
1. Fellow Membership: US $ 700 ( Rs. 7000/-)
Here one gets the journal for whole of the life and one can use the title "FISBT" Fellow Member, International Society of BioTechnology.

In addition, Fellow Members are exempted from paying the Registration fees US $ 300 for attending the Conferences of ISBT for all the times.
2. Life Membership: US $ 400 (Rs. 4000/-)
Here one gets the journal for whole of the life and one can use the title "AISBT" Associate Member, International Society of BioTechnology.

3. Annual Membership: (Here one gets four issues of the journal per year for annual membership.)
