Applications are invited for one post of Junior Research Fellow in NRSC/ISRO funded project entitled "Measurement of Vegetation and Biomass parameters under Vegetation Carbon Pool Assessment (VCP) Sub-Project of the ISRO Geosphere Biosphere Program (IGBP), National Carbon Project (NCP)" for a period of three years.

Essential qualification: M.Sc. in Botany/Zoology/Forestry/Environmental Sciences/Life Sciences.

Desirable qualifications: Field experience in Himalayan forest ecosystems and willing to visit forest sites in Himalayan region regularly during the project tenure.

Emoluments: Rs. 16000 pm plus HRA
