Amrita Center for Nanosciences and Molecular Medicine (ACNSMM) is situated within the Amrita Institute of Medical Sciences and Research Institute campus in suburban Kochi, Kerala. ACNSMM, established in 2006 is India's first Nano-bio center. The center is involved in cutting edge research in the field of nanotechnology and its application in cancer biology, tissue engineering, genomics, and neuroscience.
We are currently seeking applications from motivated, goal-oriented individuals with excellent academic background to develop nervous system specific nanotechnology-based strategies for drug delivery. Candidates with background in chemistry and/or polymer science will be given preference. The project is funded by the Department of Science and Technology under the Nano-mission program.
The eligible candidate will have a post-graduate degree in basic science with NET qualification, or a graduate degree in professional course with NET qualification, or post-graduate degree in professional course. A background in chemistry or polymer science will be preferred.
Emoluments include 25,000.00 Rs. per month for the first two years and 28,000.00 Rs. per month for the third year. Additional 20% HRA is also included. The salary structure is only for candidates who fulfill the eligibility criteria mentioned above.
