Subject: Recruitment of Junior Research Fellow (JRF) for a DBT funded project

Online applications are invited for the appointment of 'Junior Research Fellow' in the DBT sponsored research project entitled “Screening iron, zinc and carotenoid bioavailability from biofortified staple crops using coupled in vitro digestion/Caco-2 cell model” under the supervision of Dr. Vinod Kumar Sangwan, Assistant Professor, Akal College of Agriculture, Eternal University Baru Sahib for a period of three years.

Essential Qualifications: Candidates having M.Sc. (NET Qualified)/M. Tech. degree with first division in Life sciences/Microbiology/Biotechnology/Biochemistry/ Molecular biology or any other related field are eligible to apply.

Desirable Qualifications:

Experience in microbial biotechnology/enzymology/mammalian cell culture is desirable

Age: Candidate should not be more than 35 years. The upper age limit is relaxable up to 5 years in the case of candidates belonging to SC/ST/OBC, women and physically handicapped candidates.

Stipend: Rs. 25,000/- + 10 % HRA for the first two years and Rs. 28,000/- + 10% HRA for the subsequent years.

The above position is completely on temporary basis and co-terminus with the project.

The selected candidate will be eligible for admission to Ph.D. Biotechnology in the Eternal University as per the university rules and UGC guidelines.
