PU Chandigarh Biophysics/Biochemistry Project Vacancy

Applications are invited for one post of Project Assistant in the SERB funded Research project entitled “Studies on Selenium-mediated redox regulation of resolution pathways in experimental colitis” in the Department of Biophysics, Panjab University, Chandigarh, under the supervision of Dr. Naveen Kaushal, with below mentioned qualification and experience.

Essential Qualifications: The Candidate must have passed the M.Sc. with a minimum of 55% marks in Biophysics/Biochemistry/Biotechnology/Genomics/Allied fields.

Note: Candidate who have cleared GATE/NET-JRF/lectureship (UGC-CSIR joint test)/ICMR/Panjab University’s Ph.D. entrance test, are encouraged to apply.

Desirable Experience: Hands-on experience in animal handling, biochemical assays, Molecular Biology techniques, gene and protein expression.

Job Specification /Responsibility: To perform experiments and assist the PI in various phases of research project

Emoluments/Fellowship: Rs. 12,000/- (P.M.) Fixed
