Applications are invited from interested candidates to work as Junior Research Fellow in the Ministry of Earth Sciences (MoES) funded research project entitled ‘Land based closed cycle culture of indigenous sea urchin species and development of post harvest protocols for the preservation of roes’.
Duration: Three years;
No. of vacancies: 2;
Post: Junior Research Fellow;
Emoluments: Rs 25,000/month + 30% HRA for 1st and 2nd year. Rs 28,000/month for 3rd year + 30% HRA;
Eligibility: M.Tech. (Biotechnology/Biochemistry/ Fisheries Science), First Class or M.Sc./M.Phil. Marine Biotechnology/Marine Biology, First Class.
The appointment is purely on merit basis and temporary for three years.
Candidates having research experience in Marine Hatchery Management, Fish Breeding Techniques and with CSIR-NET, GATE qualification will be given preference.
