A position of JRF is available in the Department of Biotechnology, IIT Hyderabad to work on a DBT sponsored project.
Name of the post: Junior research fellow (JRF)
Duration of the project: Three years. The appointment will be on temporary basis for a Period of one year. Based on performance in the first year, the appointment could be extended till the end of the project. After two years the candidate will be moved to SRF category with higher emoluments.
Emoluments: Rs. 25000/- + HRA
Eligibility: MSc/MTech in BIOINFORMATICS or allied subjects,
Age limit: The upper age limit will be 28 years as on the last date of application. Age relaxation upto 5 years in the case of candidates belonging to SC, ST, OBC, women, and physically handicapped categories.
EXPERIENCE: different MOLECULAR DYNAMICS SIMULATION software (e.g. Gromacs, Charmm), Other skills includes some knowledge in programming language such as C, C++ , Schrodinger small molecule suite and Desmond. Candidates without MDS experience need not apply.
Selection process: Initial screening will be based on eligibility, merit and other relevant skills. After the screening, shortlisted candidates will be called for interview in person along with the original certificates.
