Recruitment for the post of “Research Associate ” under funded project Indian Institute of Science Education and Research (IISER) Pune is a premier autonomous Institution established by the Ministry of Human Resource Development, Government of India, for promotion of high quality science education and research in the country. Institute invites applications from Indian nationals for the following position on contract basis:

Name of the project “Evolution of evolvability in laboratory populations of E. coli” Funding Agency DBT, Govt. of India Project code 30814157

Minimum qualifications The candidates must have a PhD in any branch of lifesciences. Experience in handling microbes is a must. Preference This position requires ability to handle both E. coli and Drosophila.

The candidate needs to be well-versed with various statistical analyses like ANOVA and non-linear regression.

Fellowship Rs. 36000 + 30% HRA

Tenure Initially for a period of one year, continuation possible on satisfactory performance. Age Not more than 35 years as on the closing date

There will be a walk-in interview on 01-June-2016 at 9.00 AM (IISER-Pune Main campus Second Floor.
