PhD Studentship in Cancer Biology (2 positions)
Ph.D. admissions in Cancer Biology (2 positions) at Institute of Bioinformatics (IOB), Bangalore, which integrates multi-disciplinary expertise on biomarker research. The program involves the application of state of the art technologies to investigate biomarkers for bladder cancer recurrence and progression. This includes: identifying novel biomarkers, study the molecular pathology and understanding clinical phenotypes.
Qualifications: M.Sc. in Life Sciences
Candidates must have secured JRF funding from CSIR-UGC, DBT and BINC
Candidates with experience in cell culture, molecular biology and/or mass spectrometry are preferred.
Selected JRFs will be involved in cell culture, molecular biology experiments, proteomics and cutting edge technologies including NextGen sequencing. Only candidates who can relocate to Bangalore may apply.
