Applications are invited for a post of Technical-cum-lab Assistant in a SERB-funded Project entitled: "Whole Genome Transcriptome Analysis to Identify Key Genes Regulating Sugar Accumulation in Sweet Sorghum (Reference Number:ECR/2015/000495)'' at School of Biotechnology, JNU. The selected candidate will be appointed purely on temporary basis, initially for one year that may be extended based on the performance on yearly basis till the completion of project.

Position: Technical-cum-lab Assistant (1)

Essential Qualifications & Experience: Candidate must have Bachelor degree in Sciencewith minimum of six months’ experience of working is a molecular biology laboratory as well as dealing with the paperwork related to the project.

Desirable: Basic knowledge of working in the molecular biology laboratory, experience of growing plants in greenhouse as well as in field conditions and basic computational skills would be a plus.

Salary: Consolidated Rs. 15,000 per month.

Appointment will be purely on temporary basis and co-terminus with the project. The eligible candidates may further be shortlisted based on qualifications/experience depending on the number of applications received.
