Applications are invited for the position of Junior Research Fellow (JRF) in Science and Engineering Research Board (SERB)-sponsored project: “Introducing cyanobacterial bicarbonate transporters to C3 plants for enhanced photosynthetic performance”.

Position : Junior Research Fellow (JRF)
Stipend : Rs. 25,000 per month consolidated
Essential Qualification: First class M.Sc./M.Tech/M.E. in Life Sciences, Biotechnology, Biochemistry, Botany, Plant Sciences or equivalent. M.Sc. final year result awaited candidates can also apply. Age limit as per government rules.
Desirable qualifications: Experience in plant genetic transformation, plant tissue culture and routine molecular biology techniques.
Mode of Interview: Shortlisted candidates will be interviewed in person, online via skype or telephone. Final selection will be made after interview in person.
No TA/DA will be given to candidates for appearing in interview. The candidate is expected to join by 1st March 2017.
