Recruitment for the position under funded project [Purely on Temporary and Contractual Basis] Indian Institute of Science Education and Research Pune is a premier autonomous Institution established by the Ministry of Human Resource Development, Government of India, for promotion of high quality science education and research in the country. Institute invites applications from Indian nationals having excellent academic record and relevant work experience for the following position purely on temporary and contractual basis under the funded project:

Name of the Project “Exploring the mechanistic enzymology of the anaerobic biosynthesis of 5,6-dimethylbenzimidazole, the lower ligand of Vitamin B12” Funding Agency Science and Engineering Research Board (SERB) Project Code 30116246
Minimum educational Qualification M.Sc. / M.Tech or equivalent degree with minimum 60% marks/equivalent grade in Biochemistry / Biotechnology.
Preference Candidates having qualified CSIR/UGC NET/ or GATE with minimum 2 years of research experience.
Preference will be given to candidates with prior hands-on research experience in molecular biology and genetics.
Tenure of appointment Initially for a period of one year which may be extended subject to continuation of the project and satisfactory performance of the incumbent.
Consolidated emoluments Starting from Rs. 16,000 + 30% HRA or Rs. 25,000/- + 30% HRA per month based on qualification i.e. CSIRNET/GATE or equivalent.
Age Not more than 30 years as on closing date of advertisement. Last date of application March 01, 2017
