CSE Microbiology Scientist Job Openings

Centre for Science and Environment (CSE) is one of Asia’s leading research and advocacy organisations working in the field of environment protection. CSE is setting up a state-of-the-art laboratory for wastewater, septage management and organic food certification. The laboratory is being built at CSE’s upcoming residential campus at Nimli, Alwar, Rajasthan. 

Job profile:

The job profile includes carrying out sampling and analysis of river water, wastewater and faecal sludge samples, development of  protocols for faecal sludge characterization and performance testing of decentralized treatment technologies, help in designing and maintenance of wastewater and septage management systems, conducting cutting-edge research and carrying out documentation on technology menus on decentralized technologies and knowledge support on demonstration projects in targeted areas. 

Qualification and experience: 

The candidate should have Ph.D./ M.Tech. in Microbiology/ Analytical/Organic Chemistry/ Microbiology/  Environmental Sciences / Public Health Engineering/ Environmental Engineering and having hands-on experience of using sophisticated analytical equipments such as LS-MS, GC-MS, HPLC, GC, AAS, etc. At least 05 years of work experience in a similar or related capacity is a mandatory requirement.

This position is open for CSE’s new residential campus in Nimli, Alwar, Rajasthan. Salary will be commensurate with qualifications and experience.
