Manipal School of Life Sciences (MSLS) is an independent institute under the Manipal Academy of Higher
Education, established in the year 2006, and is one of the top life sciences institutes in the country. MSLS
is a constituent unit of the Manipal Academy of Higher Education (MAHE), Manipal. It is identified as
TIFAC-CORE (Technology Information, Forecasting & Assessment Council - Centres of Relevance &
Excellence) of the Government of India in the area of Pharmacogenomics. It actively promotes advanced
research in India and abroad, supported by the Government of India agencies such as DBT, ICMR, DST,
BRNS, and a number of other industry partners.

invites applications from eligible candidates for following faculty position at Manipal School of Life
Sciences, Manipal a constituent unit of MAHE, Manipal.
1. Assistant Professor
• Ph.D. with expertise in Genetics/Machine Learning/Computational Biology/Systems Biology
with proven research experience with the passion for teaching is preferred.
• Previous track record of high impact publications, extramural funding, teaching and vision to align
and grow with the Institute. Industry experience is an added qualification.
2. Assistant Professor
• PhD with expertise in analytical chemistry or biophysics with proven research experience
with the passion for teaching is preferred.
• Good experience in handling and maintaining high-end instruments such as HPLC, Mass
Spectrometer, Flow cytometer, 3D Bioprinter, Raman Spectrometer, Confocal Microscopy,
Seahorse, Next generation sequencer, ICP-MS, X-Ray irradiator, etc.
• An experience in developing business and consultation models in academia set up for utilization of
high throughput instruments is preferred.
• Previous track record of high impact publications, extramural funding, teaching and vision to align
and grow with the Institute. Industry experience is an added qualification.
