Applications are invited from interested candidates for ONE post of Senior Research Fellowship (SRF) on a purely temporary basis for an ICMR Sponsored Project No. 2021-13818/SCR/ADHOC-BMS entitled "Identification and Characterization of Cancer Stem Cell Heterogeneity in Head and Neck Cancer Patients and Their Response to Chemotherapy and Radiation: A Prospective Study".

1. Senior Research Fellow (One) Rs. 35000/- + 27% HRA

Essential Qualification:

• Master's degree in Life Sciences, Biotechnology, Bioinformatics, Chemical Sciences or equivalent subject with strong academic record. The student qualified

• NET-LS/GATE will be given preference.

• Candidates should have 2 years research experience in Molecular Biology techniques, Tissue culture and animal handling and preference will be given to meritorious students.

• The candidate should have research experience in mammalian cell culture, animal handling, medicinal chemistry and drug discovery.

Start Date of Advertisement: 17th July, 2025.

End Date of Advertisement: 06th Aug, 2025.

The Position is completely temporary and co-terminus with the project. The fellowship will be as per sanction in the project and/or as per The initial appointment may be for three months or as per recommendation of the selection committee, which can be extended on the basis of assessment of the candidate's performance and discretion of the Competent Authority. The eligible candidates may further be shortlisted based on the qualification/experience depending on the total number of applications received. JNU may select candidates against the above post depending upon the qualifications and experience of the candidate and reserves the right to relax any of the qualification(s) in case the candidate is found otherwise well qualified by the Selection Committee.

- The interview will be conducted through online mode.

-The person appointed in this project has to work minimum one year from the date of joining under this project otherwise the whole fellowship amount paid to his/her under this project have to be returned complete funds to institution.

- In case you are appointed at some other organization in due course of time you are required to give a notice of 3 months in advance before being relieved.

- Shortlisted candidates will be informed about the date of interview and the venue through email/post.

Please note that no TA/DA will be paid for attending the interview for the said positions.
