WALK-IN- INTERVIEW / WRITTEN TEST FOR PROJECT HUMAN RESOURCE
POSITION (TEMPORARY)

Applications are invited from eligible candidates for project human resource positions under
the project entitled "Identification of oral cancer biomarkers from saliva for the diagnosis of early
stages of oral cancer" at ICMR-NIHR, Jodhpur. Applications will be received from the individuals
by hand on the date of Walk-in-interview / written test as mentioned below.
Candidates are required to submit the application form duly filled along with one set of
photocopies of all certificates. All the original certificates for verification must be brought failing
which their candidature cannot be considered.
After verification of the applications, the eligible candidates will attend for Walk-ininterview / written test.

Essential
Qualifications
Graduate degree with Biotechnology/Biochemistry/Microbiology /
Biomedical Sciences/Genetics with 3 years post-qualification
experience.
OR
Post Graduate Degree in Biotechnology/Biochemistry/Microbiology/
Biomedical Sciences/Genetics.
Desirable
• Experience in molecular biology and biotechnology techniques,
including DNA/RNA isolation, PCR/qPCR, gel electrophoresis,
and related laboratory procedures.
• Experience in protein analysis and biomarker research techniques
such as ELISA, Western blotting, or other relevant assays.
• Experience in handling and processing human biological samples,
particularly saliva and clinical specimens.
• Knowledge of oral cancer biology, biomarker discovery, or
translational research will be preferred.
Age Not exceeding 35 years on the date of the walk-in interview / written
test.
Remuneration Rs.28,000/- + HRA per month (Consolidated)
Tenure Initially for up to one year (extendable up to Project Completion).
However, the position is terminus at any point in time
Place of work ICMR-NIHR, Jodhpur or anywhere in India on the project
requirements.
