SCALE OF PAY : Professor : Rs.16400-22500, Reader: Rs.12000-18300,
Lecturer: Rs. 8,000 –13,500.

GENERAL INFORMATION: 1. Application form and instructions to the candidates can be
had from the Registrar by sending a crossed Demand Draft for Rs.100/- drawn in favour of the
Registrar, Periyar University, Salem-11,payable at Salem with a self addressed envelope (25cm
x 12cm) stamped to the value of Rs.40/-. The SC/ST candidates are eligible to have one
application free of cost on production of an attested copy of the permanent community certificate.

to be enclosed along with the filled in application
