Recruitment Notification [Walk-in Interview]
Eligible candidates are invited to attend the walk-in interview for the recruitment of two (02) Senior
Research Fellows (SRFs) in the ICAR-funded project entitled “National Mission on High Yielding SeedsSoybean (12-289D)”. The position is unreserved, purely temporary, and co-terminus with the project.
Candidates are required to bring the duly filled and signed application form along with original copies of
educational and other relevant documents, and one set of self-attested photocopies for verification at the
time of interview. The walk-in interview will be held on 10.09.2026 at 10:00 AM at the Division of
Genetics, ICAR-IARI, New Delhi-12, as mentioned below. If any candidate is found to have submitted
false claims at a later stage, their candidature will be summarily rejected.

3rd year, as
applicable under
ICAR norms.
Essential:
Master’s degree in Genetics/Plant Breeding/
Genetics and Plant Breeding/Biotechnology
with 4/5 years bachelor’s degree.
Those with 3
years bachelor’s degree must have
UGC/CSIR/ICAR NET qualification or
equivalent or a Ph.D. in any of the above
disciplines as prescribed under ICAR
guidelines
Desirable: Experience in Soybean/Oilseeds
Breeding, molecular breeding, biotechnology,
and proficiency in computer application.
