National Brain Research Centre (NBRC), Manesar , is the apex co-ordinating body for research in Neuroscience with the objective of undertaking basic research towards understanding brain structure and function in health and disease. The centre is located at Manesar, Haryana, 50 km from New Delhi. NBRC would like to recruit suitable persons for the following positions:

SCIENTIST VII

Pay Scale:Rs. 18,400-500-22,400

Method of Recruitment: Direct Recruitment

Essential Qualifications/ Experience: PhD/corresponding degrees with original work as evidenced by patents or publications. Evidence of leadership with about 16 years of R&D experience.Age: Below 55 years as on last date of the application.

SCIENTIST V

Pay Scale:Rs. 14,300-400-18,300

Method of Recruitment: Direct Recruitment

Essential Qualifications/ Experience: PhD/corresponding degrees with original work as evidenced by patents or publications. Evidence of leadership with about 10 years experience in R&D.

Age: Below 55 years as on last date of the application.

SCIENTIST III (FMRI Facility)

Pay Scale:Rs. 10,000-325-15,200

Method of Recruitment: Direct Recruitment

Essential Qualifications/ Experience: PhD with four years relevant experience in R&D. Age: 40 years as on last date of the application.

Principal Scientific Officer

Pay : Rs. 36,000/- p.m. consolidated

Essential Qualifications/Experience: PhD with original research work as evidenced by patents or publications in Dementia and related brain disorders. Evidence of leadership with about 5 years experience in R&D, scientific administration and grant management.

Age: 50 years as on last date of the application.
