SENIOR RESEARCH FELLOW- 2 years

SRF to work on "cell & tumor molecular biology in the translational cancer research program"

ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS

MSc in Life Sciences or Biotechnology with a minimum of two years documented "hands on" experience in cell and molecular biology.

Desirable qualifications

Relevant publications in peer reviewed journals and/or good conference/symposium presentations.

Fellowship and allowances

The selected candidate will be paid a monthly fellowship of Rs. 14,000 + 15% HRA. No other allowances are admissible.

Selection Process

Applications with bio-data and other credentials, including two letters of reference (one from previous mentor/supervisor) may be sent to the undersigned. The envelope should mention the advertisement number and position. The last date for receiving completed applications is August 20 2007.

Applications without the above stated qualifications (including correct documentation for two years research experience in cell & molecular biology as well as reference letters) will not be considered.

Eligible candidates will be short-listed and asked to appear for a selection interview. Should there be more than 10 eligible applications, a written test will be done to shortlist candidates for interview.
