Qualifications Ph.D. in Microbiology/ Chemistry

Job Requirement/Desirable
Screening of soil samples collected from different sources for the isolation of
microorganisms producing antibacterial and antifungal bioactives.

Extraction, purification and characterization of the active principles from the promising isolates using various analytical techniques followed by
process development.

Design and synthesis of new chemical entitles based on natural product scaffolds, and their biological evaluation

Six months to one year experience in the above areas.

The Selection will be on the basis of Written Test/Interview.

Job Requirement/Desirable

Synthesis of conducting polymers by enzymatic polymerization. Fabrication and evaluation of biosensor.
Enzymatic polymerization of monomers such as aniline, pyrrole etc in vitro synthetic pathways catalyzed by an isolated enzyme.
Fabrication of polymer biosensor material by immobilization of cholesterol oleate, esterase, oxidase DNA etc., and their performance evaluation

Maintenance of Germ plasma Regular rearing and breeding of Silkworm
Report preparation Extension work at North Eastern States.
